
Malone’s experience in the sports and entertainment field is unparalleled. Her endeavors have given her the opportunity to work with athletes in the NBA, NFL, and other high profile clients.
For several years, she worked as paralegal for Washington Sports & Entertainment, providing legal and executive support to members of the front office. She has also served as Vice President and Vice President of Corporate Development (2002-2006) for Behind the Bench, The National Basketball Wives Association. Malone, along with former NBA All-Star Allan Houston, were co-founders of the Allan Houston Celebrity Golf Tournament paying special tribute to Derek Smith. During its five year tenure, the tournament reached all of its financial goals, raising money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Kentuckiana.
Malone’s diverse roles have allowed her to cultivate personal relationships with everyone from amateur basketball coaches to executives with professional sports leagues and teams. At the same time, she has devoted herself to many philanthropic causes over the years. She has worked closely with the Boys and Girls Club of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and SMA, among many others.
As the head of Perennial’s Client Services Division, Malone, along with Mike Anderson, focus primarily on ensuring that her clients are given the personal attention they deserve. This includes handling a variety of needs that clients are unable to fit into their busy daily schedule.
Monica is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Advertising and Marketing. Monica resides in Upper Marlboro, MD with her husband, Curtis.
