Perennial was proud to host “Party With A Purpose,” a series of receptions during the week of August 25, 2008 at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. Each of the eight events featured a theme, ranging from a “Welcome to Denver Celebration,” to a “Celebration of Civil Rights Icons” reception honoring the achievements and contributions of Coretta Scott King and Fannie Lou Hamer, among others. The week culminated with a “Yes We Can” celebration with Special guest Will.i.am and friends from his groundbreaking music video “Yes We Can” along with members of his band, The Black Eyed Peas, and numerous other celebrities.

In the days leading up to the Presidential Inauguration, Perennial brought together prominent figures in sports, entertainment, and politics to celebrate their achievements as well as the historic change in office. The events were a way to recognize the valuable work put forth by these individuals within their professions and to encourage others to work hard for what they believe
Perennial Sports and Entertainment, in connection with the Impact Film Fund and Washington Life Magazine, celebrated the Presidential Inauguration by hosting a "Pollywood" Dinner at L2 in Georgetown. Several high-profile celebrities stopped by to support our newest President, including Jessica Alba, Ben Affleck and Sarah Silverman.Jacksonville Jaguars Terrance "Pot Roast" Knighton, Julius Williams, and Cecil Newton hosted a special Thanksgiving celebration at the NFL YET Center to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The players distributed 25 complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in need, courtesy of Publix Supermarkets and Bono's Pit BBQ. The players also hosted a pizza party, ice cream social, and autograph session for members of the Boys & Girls Club. The event was sponsored by Coca-Cola, Dominos Pizza, Bruster's Real Ice Cream, and Getty Images.
On December 15th, Dan Muir hosted the Outreach Inc. Annual Christmas Dinner in Indianapolis, where over 100 homeless teens enjoyed a warm holiday dinner and received winter clothes. Dan was on hand to serve meals, sign autographs, and talk with teens about perseverance and making the most of opportunities.
Perennial client Jess McCann, D.C.’s dating expert, hosted a Fundraising Happy Hour at Tattoo Bar in downtown Washington, D.C. to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association. As the author of the hit book You Lost Him at Hello, Jess was on-hand to provide dating tips and relationship advice.
