Kris Jenkins is a starting defensive tackle for the New York Jets. He was traded to the Jets in February 2008 from the Carolina Panthers. The four-time pro-bowl pick spent seven seasons with the Panthers, who drafted him in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft.

Jenkins (6'5", 335 lb) is widely considered one of the best defensive players in today's NFL. He was integral in the Panthers' campaign to Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, and chosen for the Pro Bowl in 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2009. He has also been elected to the Associated Press' All-Pro team twice; most recently in 2008.

He hails from Ypsilanti, Michigan, and played college football at the University of Maryland. While playing for Maryland, he was named to the second team All-ACC.

Kris has been with Perennial agent Tony Paige since the beginning of his career.

Off the field, his passion for cooking has made him a fan favorite. Kris has had the opportunity to cook for many of his teammates and has prepared dishes in front of live audiences including an appearance on ESPN's First Take and at a cooking demonstration at the ESPN Zone in Times Square.
